Ruth is an excellent instructor. She designed a program that was specific to my particular needs. She taught me how to produce the consonant and vowel sounds that don’t exist in the Chinese language and followed it up with intensive on-line practicing. A friend noticed how much better my English was after just two months of working on the program. I highly recommend this teacher.

Ruth is an excellent coach in accent reduction. She has rich experiences working with adult foreign speakers from different countries. She helps each client identify his or her own problems and designs specific plans tailored to each individual's need. Reducing accent is a challenging task for any adult foreign speakers. I have found that Ruth's patient and positive teaching style is very helpful for me to gain confidence and improve clarity in my speech.
